Pursuit Fellowship
Employment Manager
Pursuit is hiring an Employment Manager to support our program participants, Fellows, and aid them to successfully navigate the job search process and get their first jobs as software engineers. The majority of this role will be delivering workshops and providing coaching and feedback to Fellows on their personal branding, job applications, and networking. This role will also be instrumental in helping to design and implement a scalable and replicable career coaching function that enables Pursuit to meet our five-year strategy.

Strategy and Operations Manager
Pursuit’s Employment team is looking to hire a focused and dedicated Strategy and Operations Manager who will develop and implement supply-side initiatives and manage day-to-day operations and analytics. Our Employment function is responsible for the success of Pursuit’s open market jobs strategy, one of the two organizational strategies to drive employment outcomes for Pursuit Fellows: 1) open market jobs 2) committed jobs (enterprise sales contracts with employer customers). Open market jobs have historically represented ~70% of Pursuit jobs. Reporting to the VP of Employment, the Strategy & Operations manager will lead the effort to redefine the way that Pursuit collects and leverages our Fellows’ application & employment data. Likewise, working cross-functionally and alongside members of the team, they will help determine how the function defines and measures success. With the overarching goal of "Everyone Drives Jobs" as the top company-wide priority for 2024, the Strategy & Operations manager will have a critical impact on Pursuit’s mission.

Individual Giving Manager
As the Individual Giving Manager, you will oversee the strategy, communications, and ongoing engagement of Pursuit’s network of high net worth individuals and influential leaders in business and technology. Reporting to the VP of Development & Partnerships, you will create, own and drive a dynamic engagement strategy to retain and acquire net new gifts from Pursuit champions and other individuals. You will lead the planning and execution of events and develop exceptional experiences that promote, diversify, expand, and educate our funders and potential funders.

Strategic Investments Manager
We are in search of an energetic and thoughtful Strategic Investments Manager who will assume a broad range of product and investment management responsibilities across our impact investment products, investor management, and capital projects for a spectrum of blended capital raises including forgivable grants, recoverable grants, impact debt and equity, and market-rate debt and equity. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Impact Investments team managing relationships with existing and new investors, lenders and funding partners. The right candidate must be comfortable building complex financial models and developing thoughtful presentations with minimal guidance that can promote and close new capital commitments. This person will be a superior team player internally and externally, providing critical analysis and engaging investors to help close meaningful deals, manage large multi-year contracts, and build the future of the impact investments business. The candidate will work closely with the Managing Director (MD) of Impact Investments and be part of a high-performance team that will scale Pursuit’s fundraising, investment management, and diligence capabilities to meet their goals over the next 3 years.

Strategic Partnerships Manager, Philanthropy
As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for establishing new partnerships with philanthropic entities and other partners to fund strategic initiatives. While others on the team will be focused on raising funds specifically to support workforce development, this role will lead partnerships and fundraising for strategic, systems-level initiatives that may sit outside of or adjacent to workforce development and be focused more broadly on economic transformation through impact investment and capital mobilization, wealth gap and inequality, research and policy, or capacity building. Examples include Randomized Controlled Trial, a new Queens Tech Hub, a Tech Apprenticeship implementation plan for the city, or an employment strategy with Venture Capital firms.
