Become a software engineer at Uber
Pursuit is partnering with Uber through our LevelUp program to support their Drivers, Couriers, and members of the CST team to become software engineers.
Upon completion of the Pursuit Fellowship training program and passing Uber hiring processes, Pursuit LevelUp participants are offered software engineering internships at Uber with the opportunity to convert to full-time.

Former Uber Drivers, Current Uber Engineers
For three years, I’ve been driving passengers to their destinations, without any direction of my own.
Now, I’m working for Uber Eats. I’ll have a great salary, increased standing in my community, and be able to support my parents. Pursuit and Uber have given me not just a direction, but unlimited paths to follow.
In the process of saving for a bootcamp. Uber was advertising an opportunity for people to apply for their Pursuit and Uber partnership called LevelUp.
I successfully completed the program and I was accepted as a software engineer in Uber’s apprenticeship program.
This was the first time I could breathe in a long time, not because I was proud of myself, not because I had something to prove, but because now I can take care of my family.
Driving provided me with flexibility. But I still dreamed of going back to school and earning a degree in computer science. I found out about Pursuit through an email from Uber.
After going through the Pursuit LevelUp program, I’m a software developer for Uber Eats. I’m so grateful that Pursuit believed in me enough to give me this opportunity.
Our Fellows are representative of the community we want to build. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to achieve their dreams regardless of gender, ethnicity, socio-economic background, or geography.
